Whilst we were there we took some more footage around Juba for our documentary and were privileged to fly to Agok town (near Abyei) to film also.

Abyei is close to the border between the North and South of Sudan and is currently disputed territory due to the oil discovered in this area. The people have been terrorised by the Northern Army in recent times and we were informed by local chiefs that in 2008 there was a series of killings, including women and children.
